ELISABETH SHUE – AGE 57

Did you know that Elisabeth Shue was already 21 years old when she portrayed the high school student Ali Mills in the 1984 film The Karate Kid? Impressively, Elisabeth has given life to the character and blended well with the rest of the cast as she looks young for her age. Now that Elisabeth is already 57, it is still a surprise how she managed to stay young-looking and glowing.

Apparently, Elisabeth admits that her natural youthful look has backfired on her, especially to her career. The actress had a hard time landing more mature and serious roles due to her girl-next-door beauty. She had to prove herself over and over for her to be considered fit for a part. Her breakthrough finally came when she starred in the thriller film Hollow Man in 2000. In the same year, Elisabeth went back to college and finished her degree in political science at Harvard University.
