Sam Smith is one of the best American singers of his generation. The singer gives tribute to both Adele and the late Amy Winehouse for inspiring him to take up singing.  He also considers Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston as the best when it comes to R&B music. When his music career started, he also began losing weight not only for his career but and for his health. Because of his perseverance, he lost a total of 14 pounds in just two weeks.

He attributes his weight loss success to regular exercise and a healthy diet. Despite his admission on what he did to lose weight, some people still think that Sam may have undergone gastric bypass surgery, which many health insurance companies cover so long as medically necessary.  Well, whatever he did to lose weight, it sure worked well for him. Hopefully, he’ll be able to maintain his healthy weight.
