JEREMY IRONS – SINEAD CUSACK

Beginning his career in the late ’60s, Jeremy Irons has become a Hollywood legend. He’s also confronted many controversies in his life and his wife of 42 years, actress Sinead Cusack, stood by his side through it all. Irons shared in an interview that marriage was hard and calling a divorce attorney used to be an option for them. But against all odds, they chose to stay together and as a piece of advice, he stated, “I believe a couple should always talk to each other, and try to make it work, stick at it. It’s worth it.”

Cusack was first known for her acting debut at Abbey Theatre before she relocated to London to join the Royal Shakespeare Company. In 2020 she was listed as number 25 on The Irish Times’ 50 greatest Irish actors of all time. The couple had 2 sons, Samuel James, and actor Maximilian Paul.
