June “Mama June” Shannon is a reality television personality who appeared on Toddlers and Tiaras with her daughter Alana, also known as “Honey Boo Boo”. Later on, TLC gave them their own reality TV show entitled, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, in which their entire family was to star. According to TLC, Mama June was paid $50,000 per episode in the mentioned series, which lasted five seasons.

Although their show was discontinued after five seasons, Mama June and her daughter Alana have appeared on several TV shows since then. Currently, June Shannon is said to have approximately $1.5 million in her bank account, which she has earned over the years. She is now starring in her cooking show, Cooking with Mama June, and Mama June: From Not to Hot. Some of her earnings were placed in trust funds for her daughters–she must have a good financial advisor.
