Duane Lee Chapman, who is more popularly known as Dog the Bounty Hunter, is a bounty hunter who has captured approximately 6000 outlaws over his 20-year career. His life was featured on the reality TV show Dog the Bounty Hunter. Before being a bounty hunter, Chapman had a troubled childhood. He was at one point captured by another bounty hunter for breaking the law himself.

After several legal issues, he promised to redeem himself by being right with the law and decided to be a bounty hunter. He caught his first lawbreaker after the first day of his release from jail. He then decided to continue doing it and make it his life’s work. He now owns four bonding companies in Colorado and Hawaii. With his shows and business investments, his fortune is now estimated to be about $6 million and will continue to grow as he captures more outlaws.
