He has already become iconic for hosting the show for almost 3 decades. His contract renewed till 2022 with his co-host Vanna White. He has faced many obstacles on his way to become a successful host which inspires many to work hard as him.

His character has even been portrayed in various parodies such as in a sketch done by the makers of Sesame Street. He is said to have a net worth of $65 million, making him the richest TV show host as of 2019. He is also given a $15 million annual salary for hosting The Wheel of Fortune, which is definitely not bad given that he only works 4 days each month for the show. To some degree, he has one of the best jobs in Hollywood.
