On top of that, for 381 consecutive weeks, she’s been a New York Times bestselling author, which has also been recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records. She also holds the title for being the fourth bestselling fiction author of all time.

To date, Steel has written over a total of 179 books, some of which are children’s books. She founded the Nick Traina Foundation in honor of her late son.
