Angie Dickinson started her career in television before going on to appear in several films during the 1950s. This was a time when raw talent and naturally good genes would get you places. When she was young, Angie wanted to be a famous writer like her father, whom she held in very high regard for a long time. She worked at an airport and graduated with a business degree before she began her acting career. Angie joined Miss America and was later discovered by a casting agent who then offered her a role in The Jimmy Durante Show.

Angie shot to prominence in the 1950s and 1960s and became one of the most sought-after leading ladies. Her last film was in the 2009 television film Mending Fences. There is not much known about Angie’s whereabouts, but we hope that the 89-year-old is living a happy life in retirement.
