Whenever we get to see the hit CBS sitcom Designing Women, it always reminds us of Delta Burke. The now-64-year-old star played the role of Suzanne Sugarbaker in the series for a good five years, from 1986 to 1991. She even earned two Emmy Awards nominations for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for the show with her excellent acting talent.

This paved the way for the American actress to have several TV credits, like in Filthy Rich, Delta, Women of the House, and DAG. Burke didn’t let herself be canned in only doing TV shows, though. She also ventured into producing and starring made-for-TV movies, such as What Women Want and Boston Legal. The celebrity then tried her luck in doing Broadway productions of Thoroughly Modern Millie and Steel Magnolias. Despite her advancing age, nothing is stopping Burke from acting as fans will be continuously seeing her either on the big or small screens.
