ELINOR DONAHUE | 84
Elinor Donahue is maybe best known in the hit 1950s sitcom Father Knows Best, but she has been in the business at the tender age of five. The now-83-year-old star first appeared in dancing-chorus films when she was young. Donahue was also part of the Elizabeth Taylor 1952 movie Love is Better Than Ever. She then became one of the daughters in the film Three Daring Daughters and joined the Girls Town cast.
Ultimately, it was when Donahue did Father Knows Best that she got everyone’s attention. This opened the door for the then-young actress to be part of different movies and TV shows, like Jukebox Jury, The Ray Bolger Show, The White Carnation, U.S. Marshal, The George Burns, and Gracie Allen Show, and more. Although Donahue has yet to announce her retirement officially, her last acting credit on IMDb is The Young and the Restless in 2011.
