Robert Englund is known for playing Freddy Kruger in the classic horror Nightmare on Elm Street. He also appeared in the films The Last Showing and Fear Clinic. Avid horror movie fans love Robert’s portrayals of villainous characters. His most fan-favorite horror movie, as we’ve mentioned, is Nightmare on Elm Street, for which he received a Saturn Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. When the film had its reboot, Jackie Haley replaced Robert for the role of Freddy Krueger.

However, it didn’t go well for the fans since Robert is considered the best to play the role. While he has not been seen in many movies or TV shows as of the moment, Robert has not yet made any concrete plans for his retirement. Even though he lives a rather quiet life, we hope he has made investments that will put him into a comfortable place should he decide to retire.
