Dawn Wells’s fans remember her for portraying Mary Ann Summers in the hit TV series Gilligan’s Island. Among the cast of the said series, she is one of only two remaining cast members alive. She was crowned Miss Nevada before she ventured into the acting world, appearing in films like 87th Precinct and The Detectives. Aside from having excellent talent in acting, she also has a good heart. She made investments in a lot of charities and made clothes for people with disabilities to support the Denver Foundation.

However, Dawn encountered some financial problems in 2018. Luckily, no reports have come out saying that she needed help from a bankruptcy attorney. She remains active in the Hollywood industry despite her advanced age and keeps on doing what she does best.
