Michael York started his career by performing in theatre until he landed a significant role in the movie Accident. His role in the said movie was his ladder to success, and it paved the way for him to appear in more roles. He now has over 70 film credits. He also worked as a voice artist for animated TV shows, such as Ben 10: Alien Force, Family Guy, and The Simpsons. Michael managed to receive numerous awards and accolades for his performances. There is no sign that he’s retiring since he remains quite active in the industry. This fact, of course, proves that he is enjoying his job.

However, the internationally-acclaimed actor was stricken with a very rare disease. Thanks to science and stem cell therapy, his symptoms were alleviated. Now he’s getting back on his feet again, but he only appears to the public occasionally. We just don’t hope his medical condition won’t cause him money management problems.
