Olivia’s career started booming in the 1930s. This was around the middle of Hollywood’s Golden Age. She was featured in several acclaimed movies, some of which are what thrust her into the limelight. She was recognized internationally and received several awards, including an Academy Award. Olivia had roles in many films, including The Snake Pit, Gone with the Wind, To Each His Own, and The Woman He Loved. She was able to achieve remarkable success in the entertainment industry, and we have little doubt that she was able to do wise investment planning, which benefited her when she finally retired.
Unfortunately, she passed on last July 26, 2020. The legend Dame Olivia’s memory as the most exquisite and glamorous actress of her time will live on. As long as there will be mention of the “De Havilland Law”, Dame Olivia is remembered. The degree of her fame and glory is a long way off than that of other artists of her time.
