Marcy McGuire is a famous singer and American actress, a combination of talents that was uncommon during her time. Her original name was Marilyn Jeanne McGuire but she later changed it to a more marketable one, Marcy McGuire. Her father was a film projectionist, and Marcy made her feature film debut at the age of sixteen. In 1944, she starred opposite Frank Sinatra in Higher and Higher.

Her young age didn’t stop her from achieving her dreams in life as she soared higher than any of her peers ever could. She managed to have a minor uncredited role in the 1963 Disney film Summer Magic and later starred in It Happened in Brooklyn. In 1963, McGuire retired from acting. Retirement life is not a worry for Marcy since she was able to amass a huge fortune throughout her acting career–and she reportedly made the right investments.
