American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey first received widespread acclaim in 2011 and has since transformed into a flourishing global artist. Born Elizabeth Woolridge Grant to a copywriter and an account executive, Lana earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy at Fordham University. Regarding her influences in music, her uncle taught her how to play the guitar, and she later began performing in clubs and wrote her own songs. Lana cites Frank Sinatra, Bob Dylan, Nirvana,  Amy Winehouse, Elvis Presley as her musical influences.

During the start of her career, Lana has been seen in hairstyles reminiscent of decades past. She also likes putting on a dramatic cat eye, which became her signature look. As most celebrities do, the 35-year-old artist also posted a makeup-free photo of her on Instagram. Her fans were quick to comment, “You look even more beautiful without makeup.”  Well, we definitely agree with them!
