Rolf Harris | $19 Million
Multi-talented singer, songwriter, visual artist, and musician, Rolf Harris, was born in Perth in 1930. Rolf Harris came to London in 1952 to study art, and he went on to have a relatively successful career in it. After a year, he appeared on TV as a craftsman and narrator. He was a hit as a vocalist during the mid-sixties and became famous for the song Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport.
The song became a hit in Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom — and, to Harris’s credit, it was a song that was often played on the radio at the time. Aside from being a songwriter, he was also a TV presenter on BBC and ITV. His first program was the show Jigsaw on BBC. He also hosted Animal Hospital and The Rolf Harris Show. Being an artist, he has showcased some of his paintings at London’s Portland Gallery. He was awarded The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire and The Order of Australia. With all these accomplishments, he was able to accumulate an estimated net worth of $19 million.
