Another animal most – if not all – of us know of today would be horses. Did you know that, due to the way their eyes position on their heads, horses have a near-360-degree field of vision? While that on its own is already quite interesting, another remarkable fact about horses is that they can sleep while standing up, thanks to a system of tendons and ligaments that lock their legs into position whenever they need to rest.

Horses also tend to want out attention. While they represent an elegant light in pop culture, horses are also no strangers to being the subject of jokes – “why the long face?” the bartender asked. Well, a moment just so happened to be captured on-camera. While in the middle of a road trip, this family decided to lower their car’s windows, perhaps so they could feel the breeze. However, it was thought that this was an opportunity to give the family a lovely, friendly welcome for the horse.
