A Present She’ll Never Forget

In most movies and documentaries, crocodiles and alligators receive depictions as dangerous creatures. Well, they are. They’re natural-born predators, after all. Even so, that hasn’t stopped people from making interesting investments in them. In Australia’s Northern Territory, people want to have baby crocodiles as pets, with their swimming pools becoming their new home. Of course, not everyone shares the same attraction towards these animals.

Giving someone a present can be a nice gesture of appreciation. Sometimes, it can also be a prank. For this photo, it’s safe to say it’s the latter. Even so, the gift should always be as presentable as possible, which is why this small reptile here is wearing a pretty pearl necklace. It turns out that accessory wasn’t enough to pretty it up, judging from the recipient’s reaction. Let’s hope the pet shop has a customer-friendly return policy.
