The Pigeon Whisperer

It’s fascinating how much men can credit much of their lifetime to something bigger than themselves, literally. A grand example would be the Milan Cathedral, whose construction took five centuries and was made possible because of the coordination of the generations of architects, artists, and sculptors.

A trip to Italy would not be complete without a photo (it goes without saying that one would look like an ant against the vast structure) in front of one of the largest cathedrals that have graced the world; that was what the guy in the frame was trying to do—until a pigeon decided to fly at the exact moment when the photographer released the shutter. These birds are known to sprawl the grounds that surround the church. Tourists would often spend time tossing them seeds like Italians taking their time to enjoy life.
