Yang Huiyan – $ 12.6 Billion

Yang Huiyan is the daughter of the founder and chairman of Country Garden Group, Yang Guoqiang. When she turned 36 years old, her father gave her the majority of the shares. She received 55% shares which made her the youngest female billionaire in Asia with a net worth of $12.6 billion back in 2007.

It was a well-deserved gift, as she made use of her degree in marketing and logistics from Ohio State University to raise $410 million for her company by selling new shares. No wonder she became the vice chairman of the board for the governance committee.
