Aerin Lauder – $ 1.85 Billion

If you like make-up, then you are familiar with the last name of Aerin Lauder. She is the heiress to Estée Lauder and owns 16 million shares which amount to $1.85 billion. As a member of the Lauder family, she also became interested in the fashion and cosmetics industry.

So it wasn’t a surprise when she decided to start her own cosmetic, furniture, and fashion line. She named her company AERIN, omitting the last name so people don’t associate or confuse her business with her family’s company. We bet she didn’t need a business loan to start her own.
