After almost 40 years of blissful marriage, Jay Leno and his wife, Mavis Leno are still standing strong, and like some of the best couples, they have a cute story to share. The pair first met in the late ’70s at a comedy show where Leno performed.

While they were planning on getting married, he didn’t give Mavis an engagement ring as they had just bought a house.
