STEVE MARTIN – ANNE STRINGFIELD

Everybody loves Steve Martin. From his work in comedy, music, and even in books (yes, he has lots of writing credits), there’s nothing this great artist cannot do. Contrary to most of the celebrities who end up being with someone in the same industry, Martin started dating someone who is non-showbiz after his first marriage ended. He then married the love of his life, journalist Anne Stringfield, at his Los Angeles home in 2007.

They first got introduced to each other over the phone when Anne interviewed him as she was assigned as the fact-checker for the New Yorker. They eventually met in person for more interviews, and then they fell in love with each other. Five years after their secret wedding, in December 2012, Martin finally became a father for the first time at 67 years old while Anne was in her mid-30s. They named their beautiful baby girl Mary.
