Julie Maree Collins is an Australian politician. She is a member of the Australian Labor Party (ALP) and has represented Franklin’s Tasmanian seat since the 2007 federal election. She has held ministerial positions in the Gillard and Rudd governments and was Minister for Housing and Homelessness and Minister for Small Business in the Department of Albanese.

Collins attended Cosgrove High School. Shortly after the 1987 federal election, she began working for the Labor Party as an executive assistant. She holds a Level 4 Certificate in Business Administration. Collins is one of only four MPs in the 46th Australian Parliament who did not graduate from high school. Collins and her husband Ian Hubbard have three children.
