Monkeys are known to be ingenious animals. They could also be very wild, so when humans contact them, they have to be very careful as they could end up bitten. Do they have rabies? While they are not a common source of rabies, they can carry the disease, and a scratch could be dangerous. Also, experts have advised against feeding animals in the wild as they could learn the habit and eventually raid human habitations to look for food.

The lady seems to be enjoying herself in the picture, but what she does not realize is she is in a vulnerable position. One wrong move from either monkey could cause her to be scratched and have a wound. The monkeys do appear super friendly, but there is no harm in being careful. Also, when traveling to exotic places where monkeys are endemic, it is better to get travel insurance.
