We already mentioned that the chances of encountering a wild animal during your next outdoor trip are highly likely. The lad in this photo can certainly tell you a thing or two about crossing paths with wild animals, as an octopus seem to have given it a friendly big hug. However, having an octopus latch onto your body can be quite a tough predicament, and this guy might want to put some ointment on that after.

Most octopuses pose no harm to humans, but having one latch on to you can be a challenging situation to get out of. There are rare cases in which these animals bite, and it’s worth noting that an octopus bite can cause swelling and even bleeding in some cases. Moreover, only the blue-ringed octopus is the only species known to possess a dangerous venom. The octopus in this photo isn’t blue-ringed, and the man deserves credit for showing off his newly-attached friend.
