A Nauseating Activity

Who is afraid of heights? We bet that many of us are not keen on being on top of a building and looking down, right? Did you know, though, that there are people who thrive in that experience? They do stunts that many could not even imagine, such as walking on ropes. If that weren’t enough, they also would play instruments while up in the air.

The people you see in the photo are wearing harnesses, but even with these on, it is still fear-inducing. So why are they up there anyway? These individuals are part of a slacklining musical group called Houle Douce, and the photo originated in 2018. These two were practicing for an air performance in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Hunan Province, China. At 1,400 meters above sea levels, the two showed guts and talent as the world looked on. Hands down, we give these two credits for their work.
